List of the 2024 Emmy Nominations

The race to the 2024 Emmy Awards is officially on!

Nominations for this year’s “best of the best” television programing were announced on July 17th 2024. 

Leading the race is FX’s Shogun with 25 nominations including best drama series. FX also bringing in numerous nominations for The Bear with 23 nominations including best comedy series. FX earned a total of 93 nominations across nine programs also including Fargo, Reservation Dogs, What We Do in the Shadows, American Horror Story: Delicate,  and Feud: Capote vs The Swans. 

While Shogun is leading with the most nominations for a series, Netflix leads with the most nominations for a platform, ranking in 107 nominations. Spread across 35 programs including nominations for Baby Reindeer, The Crown, Griselda, 3 Body Problem and Ripley. 

HBO / Max fall after Netflix with 91 total nominations for programs such as True Detective: Night Country, Hacks, The Gilded Age, Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty and Curb your Enthusiasm.

Apple TV + comes in 4th for overall platform with 72 nominations for The Morning Show, Slow Horses, Hijack, Palm Royale, Loot and Lessons in Chemistry.

Coming in 5th for overall platform is ABC and CBS. ABC took home 38 nominations, led by Abbott Elementary, The Conners, The Rookie, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, Jeopardy, Shark Tank, Wheel of Fortune, The Golden Bachelor, Celebrity Family Feud, and The Oscars. 

CBS also picked up 28 nominations for programs such as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Amazing Race, The 66th Grammy Awards, The Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show starring Usher, The 76th Annual Tony Awards, Billy Joel: The 100th Live at Madison Square Garden and Dick Van Dyke: 98 Years of Magic.

Prime Video takes 6th place with a total of 37 nominations for the streamer including Fallout, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Red, White and Royal Blue.

After Prime Video is NBC ranking in 33 nominations for programs such as Saturday Night Live, The Voice, America’s Got Talent, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Night Court, Password, and Weakest Link.

Hulu comes in 8th place with 26 overall nominations including Only Murders in the Building, Under the Bridge, Quiz Lady, and How I Met Your Father.

Disney+ brings in 19 total nominations for Jim Henson Idea Man, Ahsoka, Loki, 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Echo, The Beach Boys and X-Men ‘97.

MTV follows up Disney+ with 10 nominations for RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked.

Peacock takes 11th place with 9 nominations for The Traitors, Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie, The Continental: From The World of John Wick, The Tattooist of Auschwitz and Twisted Metal.

After Peacock is Fox with 6 nominations for Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, So You Think You Can Dance, Family Guy, and Krapopolis.

Paramount + also earned 6 nominations, those include Frasier, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and Star Trek: Lower Decks.

Comedy Central comes in 13th place with 5 total nominations for The Daily Show. 

Rounding out the nominations is Showtime with 3 nominations this year for Fellow Travelers.

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards are will air Sunday September 15th at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC.
