Dog Lovers Unleashed: The Casting of a Purina Commercial in San Francisco

We are so beyond excited to share our latest commercial with you.

Last year, the team at Aura Casting worked hard on bringing some Purina spots to life for Hogarth Worldwide Inc.

As a Bay Area-based casting company, it was so fun to know that the final product would highlight our local scene. Our goal was to find some talented individuals that could showcase their love for dogs in this commercial. We wanted to see the excitement, hear the stories and (virtually) meet the pups if possible.

Our team was floored by the response we received - hundreds of submissions flooded in from all over the west coast. We had applicants of all ages and backgrounds. It was clear that there are many, many loving dog parents out there.

After reviewing all of the submissions, we carefully narrowed down our options to find our top picks. We then held remote callbacks over Zoom, where the finalists got to meet the creative team and show off their on-screen presence.

In the end, we were thrilled with the actors who booked the print and video campaigns. The actor in this spot, Alex, had the perfect mix of charisma, charm, and passion for our furry friends.
