How We Cast 11 Actors in a Bay Area Commercial for Jollibee

Hope you’ve been having a great start to 2024! As we started the year, Bonfire Labs had an exciting project in store for us - casting for a Jollibee commercial! The casting call attracted a whopping 730 submissions that spoke to the enthusiasm and creative energy of the community towards this project.

Aura Casting had the pleasure of reviewing all the submissions quickly and efficiently. The Zoom callbacks round was even more fun. With just the bite-sized interaction between Bonfire Labs and the applicants over Zoom, it felt like we were fast-tracking towards creating an illustrious project.

After the callbacks, production was able to handpick an outstanding set of candidates to feature in the Jollibee commercial. We were thrilled with the talent we encountered and confident in the production that Bonfire Labs is about to spearhead.

It takes a great team to put together a great project, and that's exactly what we got as we received all the applications. We have amazing talent in our community who are passionate, persevering, and knowledgeable about their craft. As we move forward with this project, we know that these individuals selected for the project will crush it this week.

We couldn't do this without all the creative individuals who shared their talent with us. Therefore, we would like to thank EVERYONE who submitted their applications towards making this project a reality. We appreciate the effort and passion from each submission which made it exceptionally challenging to reduce the talent pool down to a handful.
