The Bay Area Film Mixer Oct. 10th, 2023
Attendees flocked to 111 Minna Gallery hosted by Dave and Marcus of the Bay Area Film MIxer! (their first time in this space!)
Taylor, the founder of Aura Casting, recently attended The Bay Area Film Mixer, a fixture for creatives in the Bay Area looking to mix ‘n mingle the night away. The organization has been hosted in San Francisco for over a decade, and every few years they find themselves in a new home.
On October 10th, the event took place at 111 Minna Gallery, a favorited art venue in the city. The space was packed with artists! There were actors, models, directors, producers, composers, you name it, and it was there! If you were lucky, you were able to grab a few free slices of pizza. :)
Dave Moutray and Marcus Sams, the event organizers, have done an incredible job growing and fostering community of filmmakers throughout the years. In fact, they’ve done such a good job, that they’ve been recognized with a Jefferson Award for their public service to the arts.
