Aura Casting is teaming up with OMA Creative for an upcoming Ashley Home commercial — and we’re casting real Bay Area families and standout individuals to help bring this vibrant, home-focused spot to life.
This non-union project is all about showcasing Ashley Home’s newest furnishings in a lively, aspirational way. Whether you’re part of a real family or a solo talent ready to be matched, we want to hear from you!
📍 Shoot Details
Location: Bay Area (locals only — no travel budget)
Dates: Shooting the week of April 21 (everyone will be booked 1–2 days)
🔊 Speaking Roles – Looking for a Real Family (or Individual Matches)
We're casting a relatable yet aspirational family with great on-camera chemistry. Ideally, we’d love to find a real family, but we’re also open to individual submissions to create the right fit.
Roles:
Mom (Clare) – Caucasian, 40s. All-American cool mom. Energetic, stylish, fun. Think hostess-with-the-mostest.
Dad (Tony) – Caucasian, 40s. Goofy, lovable, “good time” dad. Handsome but relatable.
Older Son – Caucasian, 11–13 years old.
Younger Son – Caucasian, 7–9 years old.
Rates:
Session: $600 (Mom/Dad), $450 (Older/Younger Son) + 20% agency fee if represented
Usage: $3,000 (Mom/Dad), $2,250 (Older/Younger Son) + 20% agency fee if represented
Usage Term: 1 year – CTV, web + social
Audition Instructions: Submit a current headshot, selfie, and full-body photo. Perform the script linked in the submission instructions. If auditioning as a family, please film one video all together.
🎬 Non-Speaking Roles – Fun, Character-Driven Personalities
These roles are expressive, playful, and full of personality — no dialogue required!
Roles:
Mom (Denise) – Caucasian, 40s. Same energy as Clare, just non-speaking. Fun, stylish, mom-next-door.
Dad (Rob) – Caucasian, 40s. A lovable goofball. Think Dad jokes and backyard BBQ vibes.
Aunt Velma – Any ethnicity, late 50s–early 70s. Quirky, fashionable, life of the party. She’s the aunt everyone hopes shows up unannounced.
Rates:
Session: $600 + 20% agency fee if represented
Usage: $3,000 + 20% agency fee if represented
Usage Term: 1 year – CTV, web + social
Audition Instructions: Submit a current headshot, selfie, and full-body photo. For your self-tape, introduce yourself and tell us your favorite activity to do with your family (1-minute max).
